Austin, a junior inside linebacker, had 19 tackles, six of them solos, and a fumble return against Douglas Byrd. He has 74 tackles for five games to lead the United 8 Conference.
Kate Wilson, Cape Fear, golf
Wilson shot an 88 in the weekly United 8 Conference women’s golf match Monday at Baywood Golf Club. Wilson currently leads the conference standings with a nine-hole stroke average of 46.0.
