Tammy Jane (Coker) Siler, 59, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2022 from her battle with cancer.

Tammy was born on February 16th, 1963 in Colombia, South Carolina to the late Charles and Betty Coker. She is the fourth of five children. Tammy gave her life to Christ when she was 16 years old, and her life was forever changed. God called her to Fayetteville, NC when she was 18 years old where she met her husband, Virgil.

She was a beloved wife, devoted mother & grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She served in ministry as a worship leader and teacher of the arts for more than 15 years. Tammy was a Certified Healthcare Office Manager and Medical Coding & Billing Specialist; a career she began after raising her three daughters.

She was fun and full of life. She insisted that getting older was inevitable but growing up was optional! She lit up every room she walked into and spread joy and kindness to everyone she met. She loved jewelry, dance, all things girly, sparkly, and pretty, being a dog-mom to Kiki, spending time with her girls, and doting on her grand-babies.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Virgil Siler of Fayetteville, NC; her daughters Jennifer (Lance) Ritchie, Heather (Shawn) Morgan, and Melissa (Geoffrey) Perrin; her four grandchildren, Rayne, Ethan, Skylar, and Gia; her siblings Mike Coker, Pam McCoy, Butch Coker, and James Coker; and many extended family members.

A Visitation will be held 10:00 AM -11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2022 at RockFish Church, 9949 Fayetteville Road, Raeford, NC 28376.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM following the visitation with Pastor Tony McVickers officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28301.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the heartfelt prayers and words of encouragement. They would also like to thank Lafayette Funeral Home and the staff of RockFish Church.
