oula Mathes Vlachos, 95, of Fayetteville passed away on October 25, 2022.
Toula is survived by her sons, Bill T. Vlachos and wife, Debbie of Raleigh, NC, John T. Vlachos and wife, Maria of Winston Salem, NC, and Chris T. Vlachos of the home; sister, Olga Vlahos of Winston Salem, NC; and 5 grandchildren, Christina, Catherine, Tommy, Matthew, Katherine; 4 great grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Anna, and Bill; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom of 63 years and her brother, Nick Mathes of Florence, SC.
Toula arrived in this country on February 10, 1947. She was a lifelong member of St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, president and life member of Philoptochos Society and Daughters of Evrytania. She touched the hearts of many people. She was a wonderful cook, and homemaker. Toula loved to garden and tended to her flowers with the upmost care and she loved to spend time with her grandkids on vacations at the beach. Her and her husband retired from the Continental Café in 1993.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, with a Trisagion Service at 11 AM preceding the funeral service. Burial to follow the service at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 614 Oakridge Ave. Fayetteville, NC, in Toula’s name.
