Tracy Smith, 58, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, peacefully at home. He was born on December 15, 1963, to Billy and Shirley Smith.
Tracy is preceded in death by Marvin and Viola Smith, Virgil Smith, Rosa Mae Bethea, Mitchell and Carol Smith and Thelma Klein. He leaves behind to cherish his memory Billy and Shirley Smith, Billy Smith III, Mark and Denise Smith, Margeri and Keith Brown, Meagan Germany, Shannon Cress, Jared Smith, Austin Brown, Kathryn Figaro, and their families.
After graduating from E.E. Smith (1981), he worked in the automotive parts business for Rocket Auto Parts and Southeastern Auto. In later years, he was self-employed. Tracy enjoyed time at the beach, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Gardner’s United Methodist Church on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 2 PM. The family will greet friends prior to and after the service at 12:30 to 1:45 PM in the fellowship hall.
