Barbara Ann Power, 52, of Hope Mills, NC died Sunday, October 2, 2022 at her home.
Barbara was born in Burlington County, NJ on July 20, 1970 daughter to the late James Patrick Power and Barbara Ann Chanti. Known as the most head strong person you will ever meet and the loudest person in the room, Barbara, enjoyed spending time with her family and making the most of every situation. She loved fishing, dancing, animals, motorcycles and Country Music.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Devenny, of Hope Mills, NC; her son, Ralph T. Carty III, of New Jersey; her daughters, Angelica Marie Pineiro and Sophie Lena Carty, both of Hope Mills, NC; her brother Philip Shamus Power, of PA; her sister Marlene Margicin, of NY; three grandchildren Jace Patrick Triolo, Jax Tristan Fry, and Arya Rosemary Reid; her two dogs Tank and Tippy; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
The Family will receive friends Sunday, October 9, 2022 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
A Memorial Service will follow the Visitation at 2:00 PM with Minister James Blount officiating.
