Downtown decorators seek volunteers to put new bows on holiday wreaths

Posted

With the holidays approaching fast, decorators for downtown Fayetteville are ready to put a bow on it.

On its wreaths and other décor, that is.

Cool Spring Downtown District has partnered with Fayetteville-Cumberland County Parks & Recreation and purchased new holiday decorations, according to a Cool Spring news release.

Volunteers are being sought to help put 200 holiday bows on wreaths and other holiday greenery as well as to spruce up wreaths after a year of being packed up.

Volunteers may sign up for two shifts on Nov. 9: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and noon-4 p.m., the release said.

The decorating will be done at Riverside Dog Park at 555 N. Eastern Blvd.
