Health Pavilion North Express Care to reopen Monday

Posted

The Cape Fear Valley Health Pavilion North Express Care will reopen Monday on a three-day schedule.

The Express Care, which is at 6387 Ramsey St., closed in October 2021 to focus on COVID-19 vaccinations and testing, the health system said in a release. It will be open to see patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Other services in the facility —  such as the cancer center, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy and Health Pavilion North Family Care — remained open and are not affected by this change, the release said.

COVID-19 testing and vaccinations will continue to be available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cape Fear Valley’s vaccination clinics are operating on a walk-in basis with no appointment needed for anyone age 5 and older, the release said. COVID-19 booster shots are also available at all locations for those who are eligible.

COVID-19 testing at Health Pavilion North is available for people who are age 5 and older. Testing is done on a first-come, first-served basis as capacity allows. Appointments are not necessary.
