The USO of North Carolina at Fort Bragg is inviting people to take home a designer gown from more than a thousand in assorted sizes.

Baby Shark Live! brings its 2022 Splash Tour to the Crown Complex, 1960 Coliseum Drive, on April 20 at 6 p.m. Baby Shark joins his friend Pinkfong to take an adventure into the sea, singing and dancing through new and classic songs including Five Little Monkeys, Wheels on the Bus, Jungle Boogie, Monkey Banana and of course, Baby Shark! 

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum will host a presentation and panel discussion on the Iranian Hostage Crisis and Operation EAGLE CLAW on April 20.

“Emerge: The art of Brianna Goodwin’’ is on display March 19 through April 22 in the main lobby of the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater, 315 N. Chestnut St., in downtown Lumberton. The theater will hold a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on April 7 for an exhibit featuring artwork by the artist.

 Cornell Gunter's Original Coasters will perform April 22 at 7 p.m. at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater, 315 N. Chestnut St., in Lumberton.

Sunrise Service

A community Easter sunrise service is scheduled for Sunday, April 17, at 6:30 a.m. featuring music from The Highland Brass Quintet.

Hoppin' Around

The Cool Spring Downtown District presents the Hoppin' Around Downtown Scavenger Hunt on  April 16 from noon to  4 p.m. in downtown  Fayetteville. For more information, go to VisitDowntownFayetteville.com.

AsONE Prayer Walk

The AsONE Prayer Walk is scheduled for April 16 at Festival Park, 335 Ray Ave. The park opens at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 10. Participants will walk through downtown Fayetteville on a route that passes several buildings, including the Police Department, the courthouse and City Hall.

Weekly animal feedings presented by J. Bayard Clark Park and Nature Center on Wednesdays from Feb. 2 through March 30 from 4 to 4:30 p.m.

Sweet Tea Shakespeare presents "Into The Woods" from March 17  to April 10 at Fayetteville Pie Company, 253 Westwood Shopping Center, and April 21 to May 8 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1601 Raeford Road.

The Child Advocacy Center presents Fayetteville's Ultimate Lip Sync Showdown on April 9 at 6 p.m. at the Crown Ballroom in the Crown Complex, 1960 Coliseum Drive. The event is a  fundraiser for the center. 

Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s Step Up 4 Health & Wellness Expo is scheduled for April 9 at 8:30 a.m. at Festival Park. The event will feature 4K and 1-mile walking routes through downtown Fayetteville. The walk will be followed by a Wellness Expo with information about local health and wellness resources, food trucks, giveaways and more.

The Methodist University Education Department will present an Education Extravaganza on April 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. on the campus at 5400 Ramsey St.  Admission is free.

The FTCC Trojan 5K Color Run/Walk is scheduled for April 30 at the community college, 2225 Hull Road. Registration is $35 per person and includes a race shirt. Participants may run or walk the course.

The National Indoor Soccer League is pleased to announce the 2021-22 postseason structure. The NISL will host a postseason tournament in Fayetteville at the Crown Coliseum on April 2 and April 3.

The Fayetteville Fury will play the Memphis Americans on April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crown Coliseum, 1960 Coliseum Drive.

The Gilbert Theater presents "Othello" March 25 - April 10. The theater is at 116 Green St. For more information, go to Gilberttheater.com.

'Clue: On Stage'

Cape Fear Rear Regional Theatre will present "Clue: On Stage" March 24 through April 10. The show is inspired by the board game and film. The All-American Tattoo Convention is scheduled for April 15-17 at the Crown Expo, 1960 Coliseum Drive.  Hours are  2  to 11 p.m. on April 15, noon to 11 p.m. on April 16  and noon to 8 p.m. on April 17.

The Fayetteville Sports Club will hold a dual Hall of Fame ceremony this year for its classes of 2021 and 2022. No ceremony was held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The club will honor all 11 inductees at this year’s banquet on March 30 at Highland Country Club.

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum will host a communitywide remembrance “Vietnam War: Reflections of Courage” from March 25 to March 29. The focus of this event will be an outdoor exhibit called The Moving Wall, which is a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.

The Monster Truckz Extreme Tour will be at the Crown Complex arena March 25-27.  The Crown is at 1960 Colisuem Drive. Shows are March 25,  7 p.m.;  March  26,  2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and March 27,  2 p.m.

The Fayetteville Beach Music Festival is scheduled for 1 to 7 p.m. March 27 at Dirtbag Ales Brewery and Taproom,  5435 Corporation Drive, Hope Mills.    General admission tickets are $20 per person. Proceeds benefit the Karen Chandler Trust, which helps local cancer patients. Food trucks will be on site.
