Giovanni Salvatore Giallongo, 85, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, in his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria A. Giallongo, and his son, Giovanni Salvatore Giallongo Jr.

Carole Anne Arsenault, 65, of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away on March 7, 2023, from complications related to cancer discovered in November 2021. She and her husband, Richard, had been residing temporarily in Fayetteville, N.C., where they could be closer to family and to Duke Cancer Center.

David Martin “Papa” DeKlein passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. Papa was born at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, on Oct. 14, 1960. He continued a long family tradition of military service and earned multiple Bronze Star awards while on active duty in the Army.
