Bobbie Walthall, age 90, passed away on April 21, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 22, 1933, in Columbus, Georgia to her late parents, Mary and Raymond Spires.
Bobbie was a devoted wife to her late husband Joseph Walthall and a loving mother to her children. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband; Joseph, and her son; Ron Walthall.
Bobbie's legacy lives on through her daughter; Stephanie Edrington (Jeremy), daughter; Joyce Lewis, and her grandchildren; Chris, Joseph, Jackie, Jeanette, Bobby, Shawn, Hope, and Joshua, and her great-grandchildren; Brennen, Hayden, Parker, Antoinette, Ayonna, Trey, Amaya, and Viana.
She was a compassionate caregiver to her family and was known for her genuine love and nurturing spirit towards others. Bobbie's faith in Christianity was unwavering, and she found solace and strength in spending time with her Bible and offering prayers for everyone. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Spring Lake.
In her honor, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church in Spring Lake, a testament to her devout faith and commitment to her community.
Though she has departed from this world, Bobbie Walthall's memory will continue to be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Adcock Funeral Home, Spring Lake, NC.
