Carl Blanton, aged 88, peacefully passed away on February 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield, OH, on December 12, 1935, to Clarence Ritchie and Martinia Blanton. Carl is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris J. Blanton. He is survived by his devoted daughters; Denise Rouse and Carol Boughton, and his son; Carl A Blanton, Jr. He is also survived by his brother; Edward Rowland, and sister, Gentonda Hexenbaugh, along with two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl honorably served twenty-one years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG). A Graveside Service to celebrate Carl's life will be held at 2:00 pm on February 21, 2024, at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Services are entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home.
