David Wertz was born to the late George and Anna Wertz on August 30, 1950, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. David leaves many cherished memories to his children Melissa Koser (George), Ronald Sholly (Marti), Robert Sholly (Denise), and Stacy Askew (Ken) ; grandchildren Ronald S. Sholly (Madison), Geoffrey Koser, Stephan Baker (Tiffany), Joe Baker; greatgrandchildren Sofia Baker and Stephen Jr. Baker. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Kauffman, and a brother, Richard Wertz both of Sunbury, PA. David is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Wertz, brother Dennis Wertz, and sister-in-law Effie Wertz. There will be a visitation for family and friends on January 31, 2024, from 5-7 pm at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, 2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC 28390. A funeral service with Military Honors will follow the visitation starting at 7 pm.
