Robert Lee Thomas, age 68 of Spring Lake, NC passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. Robert was born on May 20, 1955 in Sampson County, NC to the late Benton Melvin Thomas and Iva Strickland Thomas. He worked a long career with Kelly Springfield in Fayetteville, NC and retired after 32 years of service. Most of all, Robert loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by two brothers: George Thomas of Spring Lake, NC and Grady Thomas of Elizabethtown, NC; one niece, Janet Tate of Cameron, NC and nephew, Benton E. Thomas of Elizabethtown, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Thomas Allen and his brothers: William, Ronnie and Gerald Thomas. At his request, there will be no services. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory in Spring, Lake, NC.
