The Fayetteville Woodpeckers will play the  Kannapolis Cannon Ballers at Segra Stadium June 14 -19. Start times vary. The  June 14 -17 games start at 7:05 p.m.  The June 18 game starts at 5:05 p.m.  The June 19 game starts at 2:05 p.m.

World Doll Day

LaFayette Doll & Toy Club will recognize World Doll Day on June 11 with an event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kiwanis Recreation Center, 352 Devers St.  Admission is free. Dolls will be available for purchase, there will be evaluations and displays.

The Dogwood Festival will host Fayetteville After Five at Festival Park, 355 Ray Ave., on June 10 starting at 5 p.m. This is a free event that will have food trucks along with performances by Southern Haze Band and On the Border.

Cape Fear Botanical Garden is hosting the third annual Pondamania on June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The garden is at 536 N. Eastern Blvd.
