Mary Taylor, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024, in Wilmington, NC at the age of 87. Born on April 23, 1936, in Rockingham, North Carolina, Mary was the daughter of the late Dosie Stanley and Dezzree Crisco Stanley. She spent her formative years in Rockingham before eventually settling in Spring Lake. Mary was united in marriage to her loving husband, Henry Newell Taylor, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared many years of joy and companionship. Mary was a devoted wife and partner. In addition to her role as a wife, Mary was a dedicated mother who cherished her children and embraced the responsibilities of parenthood with love and grace. She found immense joy in nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home for them. Throughout her life, Mary was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her gentle spirit and compassionate heart. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary is survived by her children; Henry N. Taylor, Jr., Lisa Benton and Dale Bass, grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. A visitation to celebrate Mary's life will be held on March 25, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake. A graveside service will take place the following day, March 26, 2024, at 3:00 pm at LaFayette Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
